Garcina Cambogia Post #1

Why is it that everyone is always wanting to go on a new diet? To lose that extra 15 pounds? I don't know, well I guess I could give you some news article about how there is an unrealistic expectation of women and how we need to look, think, feel, act and talk. I honestly am aware, but right now I'm just tired of feeling depressed all the time and I know that if I ever want to get off my depression medication I need to do something to help me improve, and my doctor has suggested this. Not that I was told to lose weight, but it is proven that being in the sun, being active and eating healthy all contribute to feeling better and happier.

Having said that, my weight is something I have been struggling with since last August. (While I have always been subconscious with my weight, I was by no means "fat". I just relied too much on how models looked..) Before I started working at the credit union I was a size 4 jeans and a small shirt. Ever since starting at the credit union I slowly moved up until now, where I am a size 8 (sometimes 10.. mainly on my period) and between a medium and large. This is all because I became a lot less active, especially when I moved to the contact center. I sit all day, no matter how much I try to move I typically don't do more than 2,000 steps all day. By that I mean, when I walk as much as possible all day long I am lucky to hit 2,000 steps a day. Either way, in August I had a breaking point. I had just gotten the Mirena out and so my feelings were out of control and it was right when my depression was really starting to get bad but I didn't think it was worth getting help for. So I ate, and I ate some more and I slept. I did a lot of sleeping. I didn't have the energy for everything and finally something clicked and I decided I wanted to do something. So I had Skyler take some pictures and I've been unsuccessfully trying ever since. I've had more downs than ups, but that doesn't mean I can't climb still. My depression is getting under control, especially now that I am more active and the sun is out all day, and Skyler and I are finally communicating on a great level to the point where I feel ready and stable enough to take a step forward and really focus on myself.

What this is all winding down to is that I caved and bought my first diet pills.. while they are advertised as 'supplements' it doesn't take away from the fact that they are supposed to help me lose weight. By that I mean I purchased NatureWise Garcina Cambogia. Since I am an Amazonholic, I got them for $33.64 with free shipping.

While I am absolutely sure I could have found them for cheaper, they were an impulse buy on a depressing day when I just didn't care at all. So today I took my first pill, well 1 pill at least 30 minutes before each meal, and so far I've noticed that I have an extreme need for water, and that I've been gassy. I have read about both of these online, so this was expected, but it doesn't make it easier.

Maybe tomorrow will be easier. Maybe it wont be. Maybe I just need to get through the day.

I am going to be working out more and trying to maintain myself better and be more active. Today I stood and actually washed the dishes instead of throwing them in the dishwasher and watching TV. I swept and cleaned the litter box and just tried to not sit down in general. It was a good day, but I seriously need to actually move. So I need to work on that before I can expect to see real (if any) results.

As for right now, lets start with the beginning information.

I need to up my water intake, eat healthier and start being more active. I am taking 1 pill before each meal until next Monday, when I will start taking 2 pills before each meal.
I think a big thing for me is that I need to get up in the morning. No more sleeping in until 8:17 when I need to be to work by 8:30. That could easily be a big contributor to my depression. When I wake up and do things I feel better through the entire day. As long as I am up I feel great. I don't want to get up and clean, or get up and stare at facebook. I want to get up and go for a walk or do some yoga. I want to do something that will make me feel better.

Hopefully starting off with these things will get me started and help me see some progress. To help me see the changes I am going to keep track of my measurements. I don't want to do weight alone, but I will keep track as well for the sole cause of seeing if I maybe gain any muscle (going off the assumption that if my inches are going down but my weight is either not moving or going up instead of down) I want to be able to see that difference too, even if its not right away.

So as of today, right now, here are my measurements:

Upper arm: 10 1/2"
Under boob rib cage: 32 1/2"
Waist: 33"
Belly button: 38 3/4"
Hips: 38.5"
Upper thigh: 24"
Calf: 14"

Weight: 151.0 lbs

(I am doing so many measurements to catch any sign of progress as a motivator. I know change isn't instant, but sometimes any indication of change is a big help.)
